At InternByte, we are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and professional environment
for all students, interns, mentors, and team members. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations,
responsibilities, and behaviour guidelines for all participants using our platform or representing our brand.
By using InternByte, you agree to follow this Code in full.
1. Who This Applies To
This Code applies to:
- Students and participants enrolled in InternByte training programs
- Campus Ambassadors, Volunteers, and InternByte Representatives
- Mentors, Trainers, and Admins involved in delivery of services
2. Expected Behavior
All participants must:
- Treat everyone with respect and professionalism
- Submit original work — no plagiarism or copied content
- Communicate politely across all channels (email, LinkedIn, calls, etc.)
- Use InternByte content only for personal learning purposes
- Showcase completed projects professionally (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio sites)
- Follow deadlines, guidelines, and program instructions
3. Prohibited Activities
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
- Copying or plagiarizing content from InternByte or other sources.
- Using abusive, offensive, or disrespectful language.
- Sharing, selling, or distributing InternByte content (study materials, certificates,
templates, videos, etc.).
- Misrepresenting InternByte affiliation (e.g., faking roles or experience).
- Misusing certificates (modifying, duplicating, or using without completing work).
- Spamming, fraud, or misleading communication.
- Harassing or disrespecting mentors, staff, or other participants.
4. Consequences of Misconduct
Participants violating this Code may face:
- Formal warning
- Removal from training program or project
- Cancellation of issued certificates
- Permanent ban from InternByte services and community
- Reporting to academic or legal authorities (for serious violations)
InternByte reserves the right to take action to protect the integrity of the platform and community.
5. Content Ownership & Usage
All study materials, project content, templates, videos, and other resources provided by InternByte
are protected under intellectual property rights. Unauthorized sharing or resale is prohibited and may lead to
legal action.
Participants are encouraged to showcase their own completed work on platforms like LinkedIn or
GitHub, giving credit where due.
